Landscape Architecture

Landscape architecture is a profession which applies artistic and scientific principles to the research, planning, design and management of both natural and built environments. As practitioners of this profession, we apply creative and technical skills along with scientific, cultural and political knowledge in the planned arrangement of natural and constructed elements on the land with a concern for the stewardship and conservation of natural, constructed and human resources. The resulting environments shall serve useful, aesthetic, safe and enjoyable purposes. The total result of their our work is however likely to have profound influence beyond the confines of a single site or function, and it is here that the landscape architect attempts to act as a coordinator, for-seeing problems and conflicts and suggesting design solutions which enfold changing activities and new construction within what is already a complex and crowded landscape.
Although the focus of our firm has historically been civil and environmental engineering, we differ from other firms is this ability to draw on the experience of our staff of Registered Landscape Architects who have extensive involvement in park and public space planning/design and assisting communities and individuals on a wide range of recreational projects. The resulting collaboration between the fields of Engineering and Landscape Architecture brings forth creative yet realistic solutions that neither individual discipline could achieve. The following are a summary of projects that have successfully incorporated some of these green, sustainable elements.
