As part of its master plan for Blueberry Park, Montrose City officials decided to improve restroom facilities and abandon an existing municipal well. Using two Community Development Block grants, a local community grant and city funds, the existing wellhouse was demolished and a new 160-square foot restroom building was constructed which included a single-staff family restroom and custodial closet.
F&V completed engineering and architectural design services and provided construction administration for the project.
The City replaced a seasonal portable facility with a year-round restroom which was part of the park’s master plan. Future improvements include universal playground equipment, additional walkways and landscaping.
