- Civil Engineer: A typical civil engineer at F&V will lead the design of water, sewer, drainage, and/or road infrastructure projects, including the development of studies, preliminary and final design, and permitting.
- Sr. Civil Engineer: At F&V, our senior civil engineering jobs in Michigan and Indiana provide project management and engineering of a wide range of projects. They manage the design and construction of water main, sanitary and storm sewers, and roads and sidewalks, as well as the oversight of numerous related studies, including water reliability studies, feasibility studies, and the development of capital improvement plans.
- Sr. Environmental Project Manager: Sr. environmental project managers provide oversight of various environmental projects such as due diligence, water resources, and remediation.
- Landscape Architect PM: They are responsible for overseeing landscape design projects, including urban planning, park design, and sustainable landscape solutions. They manage client relationships, oversee project timelines, and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
- Civil Engineer PM: Civil engineer project managers at F&V lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver complex civil engineering projects. They oversee all project phases, from initial planning and design to construction and final delivery, to make sure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Bridge Engineer: These employees specialize in the design, analysis, and inspection of bridge structures. They design new bridges, rehabilitate existing structures, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Project Engineer: Project engineers at F&V manage and execute engineering projects. They work to ensure that all technical and administrative aspects are met efficiently and effectively.
- Traffic Engineer: Our traffic engineers design and implement traffic control measures and improvements to create safe and efficient transportation systems.
- Construction Technician: A valuable part of our team, construction technicians interpret project plans and specifications, anticipate construction issues, and recommend solutions to deliver projects successfully.
- Survey Crew Chief: We are currently looking to grow our survey team with the addition of an experienced survey crew chief. The ideal candidate will provide technical expertise and be able to perform hydrographic surveys, construction layouts, boundary and ALTA surveys, plats, condominiums, site development surveys, engineering design surveys, and 3D Laser Scanning/LiDAR.
Staff Positions
To support our growth, we are often looking for talented construction, environmental and survey technicians as well as wastewater operators. Additionally, we have administrative opportunities, along with business services roles, in human resources, information technology, accounting, and marketing.
- Administrative Assistant: We are currently looking for experienced Administrative Assistants. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with plans and specifications, engineering activities, and providing responsive administrative support to our engineering staff.
- Project Accountant: As a project accountant, you will play a role in managing the financial aspects of our engineering projects. You’ll be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, budgeting, and cost management to ensure the projects are within budget and on schedule.
