Some examples of our environmental work include a hydrogeological investigation in Saugatuck, and the former Northside Landfill PFAS Investigation in Muskegon.

Some of our stand-projects in the West Michigan Shoreline area include Hart Commons in the City of Hart and the Mercy Hospital expansion in Muskegon.

F&V has been providing land survey services for over 30 years. Our expert survey team performs all surveys with the most up to date methods and equipment.

Locally, our team was awarded the Honorable Conceptor Award from the Michigan American Council of Engineering Companies for their work on the Muskegon River Habitat Survey. The project helped the West Michigan Shoreline Regional Development Commission develop a plan to restore over 50 acres of fish and wildlife habitat and wetlands.

Construction engineering at F&V is all about designing, planning, constructing, and managing infrastructures such as roads, tunnels, bridges, airports, railroads, facilities, buildings, dams, utilities, and other projects. If you can image it, we can construction engineer it!

Some local projects include Croton Drive over the Little Muskegon River for the Newaygo County Road Commission and Baldwin Street Bridge over the Muskegon River. The Baldwin Street Bridge project was awarded the Project of the Year Award from APWA.

F&V will work together with you to design and construct transportation systems for West Michigan shoreline communities. These projects can be roadways, highways, bridges, and trailways.

F&V designed the Western Ave Roundabout in Muskegon and has worked with numerous road commissions along with shoreline to improve their roads leading to the beach or back home.

Our traffic engineers work with municipal, businesses, and private development clients to solve traffic issues. We handle everything from traffic analysis to design and operations to finding safe and efficient movement on your roads.

F&V has assisted with many traffic studies and road safety audits throughout West Michigan and along the shoreline. Local communities we have served include: Allendale, Holland, Newaygo, and Norton Shores.
