Every project needs oversight – which is why our approach to construction engineering, inspection, and testing focuses on safeguarding that the project is built to the plan and specifications. We want the owner of the project to receive the value and quality needed out of final construction as well as long-term use. We have experienced, highly trained inspectors to see that your project is built to meet your goals and needs. Whether we’re overseeing a site development or a road, you can have confidence knowing your project is getting the proper oversight with us.

Our highly skilled staff, some with three decades of experience, will run cost estimates on proposed solutions and help you decide what construction works best for your project budget. We’ll QA/QC with the design team to see areas of construction are accounted for in the proposed work.

The successful design of municipal, industrial, and private infrastructure projects also requires accurate field data, including surveying and soils information. Our construction engineering team provides accurate and thorough record keeping of valued client projects from bid opening through project closeout.

At F&V, our expert team utilizes the latest tools in construction engineering technology to design traditional or alternative solutions based on what we’ve learned firsthand about the needs and goals for your project.

Many municipalities are responsible for their underground infrastructure (roadways, sewers, watermains). Maintaining their long-term use increases a community’s quality of life and saves money. Our construction engineers provide municipalities with oversite during project construction to help communities confirm that their project is being constructed in accordance with the plans and specifications. We act as a community’s representative in the field to assist with the delivery of a successful construction project.

Surveying is typically the first step of a project and can be performed by one of our surveyors. Soil testing – along with inspections and other testing – will be performed by one of our qualified and experience construction engineers or resident project representatives.
