F&V Reaches 300-Employee Milestone: A Celebration of Growth, Excellence, and Teamwork

Blog Header 2024

At Fleis & VandenBrink (F&V), growth is more than numbers – it’s about building a team of talented, passionate people who are committed to designing, building, and operating solutions that make our communities stronger. That’s why we’re thrilled to celebrate a major milestone in our journey: we’ve officially reached 300 full-time employees!

What began in 1993 as a bold idea shared by two friends, Larry Fleis and Steve Vanden Brink, has grown into a multidimensional firm with 10 offices across Michigan and Indiana. F&V now has a diverse portfolio of services that touch nearly every aspect of infrastructure and community development. This milestone is more than just a headcount; it’s a testament to the incredible dedication of our team and the trust our clients place in us every day.

Built on Teamwork, Grown Through Opportunity

Our growth has always been intentional. We’ve built specialized teams across disciplines so we can deliver integrated solutions with the flexibility to support small and large municipalities alike. Whether we’re managing complex wastewater treatment projects, leading traffic studies in busy corridors, overseeing construction schedules, or helping communities operate their water facilities, our people are the driving force behind everything we do.

Reaching 300 employees represents the breadth and depth of our expertise. F&V’s growth has surpassed early expectations, and it’s thanks to the innovative and collaborative spirit that continues to flourish throughout our offices.

Looking to the Future

While it’s exciting to celebrate this achievement, we know the best part of this milestone is what it represents: a platform for even greater impact. Our team of 300 professionals allows us to better serve our clients, expand into new regions, and continue offering a wide variety of services under one roof.

With ten offices and growing, we remain committed to the communities we serve and to the values that have guided us since day one: integrity, collaboration, and a relentless drive to solve problems and deliver exceptional results.

We couldn’t have reached this milestone without our incredible team, our supportive clients, and the many partners who have trusted F&V over the years. As we look ahead, we’re excited to continue growing—together.

Here’s to the next chapter. Here’s to the power of 300.
