Newsletter: Last Chance to Apply for Community Matching Grant Projects (Indiana – Q3)
This is your last chance to apply for up to $1.5 million in Community Crossing Matching Grants (CCMG) grants in 2024. Don’t delay! The second Call for Projects in the 2024 CCMG program closes at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, July 31.
The last call for 2024 CCMG grants is out and should be more competitive as the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT), which oversees the program, increased the maximum award amount from $1 million to $1.5 million.
Indiana cities, towns and counties applying for the grant will need, however, to update their required Transportation Asset Management Plan (TAMP) and have it approved from the Local Technical Assistance Program (LTAP). CCMG applicants must also comply with the Title VI and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) nondiscrimination and accessibility requirements.
In April, 252 Indiana cities, towns, and counties received a total of $207.3 million in state grants for local road projects through the Community Crossings program.
